The participants were faced initially with a damp track though this soon dried and 72 cars enjoyed a day of almost perfect conditions , a fair few race cars were taking the oppurtunity for a last minute shakedown and were joined by a Ferrari and brace of Porsches. only a couple of red flags resulted in plenty of track time for everyone!
I was commisioned by GTO Engineering to photograph there private test at Blyton Park
Thankfully the rain held off and a full compliment of cars took the track, a very diverse field of cars say everything from the usual clios and civics but also an Audi UR quattro complete with spitting flames take tto the Liecestershire track. Shooting on behalf of Dsaf to capture the first ever landing of 747-800 at Doncaster Airport.
45 Cars signed on in the morning, including a stunning newly built bubble arch MK1 Escort and an MGB V8. Unseasonaly warm and sunny weather was a nice bonus and with only one red flag track time was unlimited, example gallery is now live on our Facebook page.
Shooting on behalf of 2016 Auto 66 Champion Aaron Staniforth. Upon arrival at the track rain was falling steadily. Aaron was riding his 600 Honda in the Steel frame pre injection class, he took to the track for the morning arm up on the wet track but fortuantely the weather improved for the afternoons races and Aaron won his calss and achived a personal best lap time a the Leicestershire circuit.

Fantastic weather greeted around 70 drivers for this Javelin trackday, but a greasy track coupled with very soft run offs meant a few red flags mainly for people getting stuck on the grass, although I did witness a Mitsubishi GTO make the barrier it promptly bounced of and after bieng helped of the grass the car carried on with no damage done for the rest of the day, the usual diverse entry list saw a handfull of race cars on there final shakedowns along with some stunning Porsches The example gallery is now live on our facebook page.

Shooting for DSAF.co.uk I attended Doncaster Airport to document the last Boeing 757 departure of this season, used for these adhoc charters these aircraft are in the final few months of there operation and are bieng replaced by the new 787. So it is highly likely when these charters run again next year it wont be with the 757.
A fully booked entry list took to a damp track at Snetterton, with cars ranging from 1990s german motorway cruiser up to flame spitting rotary Mazdas, PP Motorsprot were in attendance using there Clio cup car just as it was intended, unfortunately the weather did deteriorate in the afternoon leaving the track largely empty at times for those who were enjoying a bit of wet practice.
The MDA (Minicross Drivers Association) held there pre season testing session at Blyton Park. 40 cars were booked on and the weather was very kind to the competitiors. the day was essentially a trackday but held over the Blyton Park short circuit. Many people were out testing brand new cars but all seemed to be running fantastically, crs ranged from the junior Suzuki swifts up to the full blown millington engined mk2 rally beasts!
28 Cars were signed on for what proved to be a day of improving weather, with not one but two Ariel Atoms on the the track and a trio of highly tuned Fiesta STs there was plenty of fast driving on show, another great event at the highly underated Blyton park with pretty much unlimited track acces to those savy enough to be booked for this event.
Unfortunately upon arrival at the track , snow had fallen and the track had a white covering, throughout the briefing snow continued to fall lightly and even though MSV did there best to get the track open , the event was cancelled due to standing water and dangerous run offs.
A less then perfect forecast kept number fairly low with 28 cars attending what turned out to be perfect weather for a trackday , with just enough cloud to keep the low winter sun from bieng a nuisance to the drivers. Highlight of the entry was a BMW powered 2CV! Please contact us to see your official photos from this sevent
We once again revisited Donington park with Javelin trackdays, 62 cars were booked on, and the weather was glorious. A diverse booking list meant were treated to everything from a 1 week old Audi R8 V10 to a Peugot 205 Gti from 1990! Contact us to see your set of images from this event
I decided to attend RAF Coningsby with the hope that the first practises for this years Typhoon display may be conducted, unfortunately upon arrival the dark, overcast weather with low cloudbase meant there was no likelyhood of that happening, however I was treated to approx 30 movents with the highlights bieng the departure of the Squadron Tornado and a full reheat takeoff from the special tail 'seek and destroy' Typhoon.
